Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Génos Clubs (hereinafter “we”, “our”) collects, processes and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés) as amended.

Data we collect
Data you provide
- When creating an account: last name, first name, email address, password, phone number, date of birth.
- When using the service: data related to your club (teams, time slots, attendance, competitions), messages, documents, published content.
- When sharing or inviting: name, postal address, email and phone number of the people invited.
- When making a payment: billing information (address, bank details processed by our payment provider).
Data collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, internet service provider, device identifier, time zone.
- Usage data: pages viewed, actions performed, referring URL, date and time of connection.
- Location data: only with your explicit consent through your device permissions (GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cell towers).
Purposes and legal bases
In accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR, our processing activities rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of the contract: provision of Génos Clubs services (accounts, memberships, licences, call-ups, payments, messaging).
- Consent: non-essential cookies, newsletters, precise geolocation, marketing notifications.
- Legitimate interest: system security, fraud prevention, continuous service improvement, aggregated audience measurement.
- Legal obligations: accounting records, responses to judicial requisitions, retention of connection logs.
Recipients and processors
Your data is processed internally by authorised staff at MY DEV WORLD. We use processors acting on our instructions under a contract compliant with Article 28 of the GDPR, including:
- OVH SAS — hosting (European Union)
The full list of processors (email sending provider, push notification service, payment tool, audience measurement, CRM, support) must be updated here by the publisher.
No data is transferred or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
Your data is hosted and processed within the European Union. Should a transfer outside the EU become necessary, it would only be made to a country offering an adequate level of protection recognised by the European Commission, or framed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) compliant with decision 2021/914/EU, together with appropriate supplementary measures.
Retention periods
Data is retained for the period strictly necessary for the purposes of processing:
- User account data: for the duration of service use, then 3 years after the last contact (prospecting).
- Accounting data and invoices: 10 years (legal obligation).
- Connection logs: 1 year (LCEN).
- Cookies: 13 months maximum.
- Supporting documents for the exercise of rights (Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR): 1 year.
- Prospecting data: 3 years from the last contact initiated by the prospect.
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Article 15)
- Right to rectification (Article 16)
- Right to erasure — right to be forgotten (Article 17)
- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18)
- Right to object (Article 21), including to prospecting
- Right to portability (Article 20)
- Right to withdraw consent at any time (Article 7)
- Right to issue directives regarding the handling of your data after your death (Article 85 of the French Data Protection Act)
These rights can be exercised by email at contact@genos.fr or by post to the registered office address, together with proof of identity if required. You will receive a reply within one month.

Cookies
On your first visit, a consent banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Cookies used:
- Strictly necessary cookies (session, preferences, security): exempt from consent, duration ≤ 12 months.
- Audience measurement cookies: subject to consent, duration 13 months maximum.
- Advertising or third-party cookies (if used): subject to explicit consent.

Data protection measures
We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks: restricted access limited to authorised staff, strong authentication, encryption of sensitive data in transit (TLS) and at rest where relevant, access logging, regular backups.
It is nonetheless your responsibility to keep your password confidential and to log out of shared devices.
Automated decision-making and profiling
Génos Clubs does not make any significant automated decisions within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
Minors
Using Génos Clubs requires you to be at least 15 years old. Minors under 15 must obtain the joint consent of a holder of parental authority, in accordance with Article 8 of the GDPR and Article 45 of the French Data Protection Act.
Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect legal, regulatory or functional changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the bottom of this page; substantial changes will be notified to you by email or directly in the application.
